Return/Refund Policy
Of course, we hope that our customers are always satisfied
with our products, but we know that it is sometimes necessary
to return or exchange an item. Please read our policy and
instructions if you need to make a return or request a
refund.
Food Products May Not Be Returned. If you are not satisfied
with your food products order, please contact us directly
at 800/296-7079.
Any Item That Has Been Used Cannot Be Returned. Please
contact us if you are not satisfied with your product by
calling 800/296-7079.
Refunds/Replacement Due to Breakage. We do our best to
package our products to protect them from the rigors of
shipping. Sometimes, for several reasons, items will break.
We will not refund or exchange for broken food items except
Gingerbread Houses. We guarantee safe delivery of each
house and other non-food item to its destination. If you
feel you need to request a refund due to breakage during
shipping, please follow the steps below.
1) Please call the Gingerbread Factory to state the reason
for your request.
2) It may be necessary to return your item. Secure your
merchandise in its original packaging and shipping box.
3) Return via UPS. We will send a call tag when necessary.
4) If you are requesting a refund, please allow 30 days
to process.
5) If you are requesting a replacement for a gingerbread
house, we will ship out another as soon as practica
6) If you are requesting a replacement for any other broken
non-food item, we will charge for the replacement item,
and ship it as soon as practical. Once the broken item
is received at the Gingerbread Factory, we will credit
your purchase. You will only be responsible for the original
shipping charges.
Exchanges. If within 10 days of receipt, you are not satisfied
with an item you purchased online, we may refund or exchange
this item for you. Please follow the steps above to facilitate
your request. If your items is sent as a Christmas gift,
please contact us directly to discuss the exchange.
Store Purchases If you purchased in item at our store
in Leavenworth and wish to return or exchange an item because
you are not satisfied with it, when possible, please visit
our store so we can facilitate the request. If you cannot
visit our store, please follow the steps above but you
will be responsible for all shipping charges.

Shipping Policy
We ship to all 50 states using UPS. For individual gingerbread
house products and other items, the shopping cart will
calculate the shipping charges using a module integrated
with UPS. Costs are based on weight and delivery distance
from Leavenworth, WA. UPS will not deliver to post office
boxes. If this is necessary, we will use the US Postal
Service and may take longer.
You can select the speed of delivery while you process
your cart order. Although we can provide for expedited
delivery services on gingerbread products, we cannot guarantee
to meet the turnaround time of an expedited order because
the availability of the product depends on our stock. For
custom houses, we require additional time. (See Process
Time below) Also, expedited delivery services offered by
UPS are considered for the next business day and do not
occur on weekends or holidays.
If you are sending several houses or kits to different
locations as gifts, you can enter each one separately in
the shopping cart but we recommend calling us to expedite
the process.
If you are requesting large numbers of kits or houses
to be delivered in bulk to one location, we need to process
the order and calculate shipping costs via UPS based on
packaging weight and size. We also offer a 10% discount
on orders of more than 12 houses. Please contact us to
place large or custom orders.
If you live in Canada or are shipping to a military address,
please contact us regarding your shipment so that we can
discus the timing of your delivery. Also, our online shopping
system cannot calculate shipping to Canada. Instead, items
will be delivered via US Postal Service. For Canadian orders,
all currency is US dollar.

Order Process Time
For most gingerbread products during the holidays, customers
request a delivery date sometime in December. We process
your orders as we receive them, but delay delivery until
then—unless requested by you to ship sooner. We will
confirm each order via email, or phone as necessary.
Custom house orders require extra time and effort. Please
allow up to one week to process custom house orders.
Orders for all non-food products will be filled as soon
as practical. We strive to get our orders out within 4
days of placement. If items are out of stock, we will contact
you to determine the appropriate course of action, depending
upon restocking availability from our providers.

If you reach our answering machine, leave a detailed message
with your name and contact information and we will return
your call as soon as we can.

and email, etc., so that we may better serve you. We keep
this information private and secure.
We collect information from you that you share with us
by phone, email or during account registration. We do not
sell this information to any third party. Our website may
collect information as an anonymous user that reports to
us how our website is used. This does not include any personal
information.
We store information you give us and information we collect
online in our secure computer system. We also must meet
Mastercard/Visa security protection requirements. We guarantee
our website security by using Network Solutions digital
Certification. This certificate is displayed on our website
and during the shopping cart checkout process. You can
click on this icon to see more information about our digital
security certificate. (You should see a locked padlock
in the bottom right corner of your browser when processing
